Sand

I was under the impression that some Playsands have pesticides and such in it to kill insects that live in sand which in turn protect the kids that are playing in the sand.

It would have to say that on the bag. Furthermore, I doubt it. After all, kids don't only play in the sand, they also eat it (face it, we all ate the sand cakes we "baked").

However, I don't know where prm is located at. Maybe other countries add stuff to play sand - but again, I doubt it.

I bought a 50lb bag of pool filter sand from home depot and mixed it w/gravel for my 40g tank.It's been up about three weeks and it is still cloudy.But I just moved to a new city so there is a chance it is the water.
