Where do you guys get the Sand for your aquariums?...

Hardware Store? Home Depot? Lowe's?

I get my sand from a pool n Spa retailer. Eight dollars for 50 pounds. To me it looks the most like beach sand, thats why I use it the most. I have bought from Home Improvement stores but it's not as good to me as pool filter sand is, doesn't lay down like pool filter sand does.

Pool Filter Sand. Home Depot, Lowes, especially a pool store should have it. It's cheap too.

same as all of the above peeps....it looks nice, is heavy enough not to get stirred up easily or sucked into filters, and its cheap

yeah, i tried going to each of them myself, i found the better stuff at a pool supply store, 10 bucks for a fiddy pound bag

Pool Filter Sand from Walmart

Pool supply store is the only place I could find filter sand. Home Depot, Lowes, Walmart don't carry it around me. Still was only like 10 bucks a sack (50lbs).
