Sounds like a plan turtles , I know once silcone is stuck to ply its not coming off without a fight ( I have to take tiles off plywood walls sometimes at work its a nightmare job)

Just watched joeys vid again , defo think your ways gona work best think he got bit lucky with it sticking when others didn't
 
yea im not worried about the glass the corners is the worry im gunna have to learn how to fibre glass
 
i also just built a diy co2 system via joeys vid for my my gallon works a charm in 12 hours my plants are greener and well better cost me 2 bucks not 200 for a store bought one

Oh yer turtles mite have found you a solution for sticking glass to liquid rubber , google chemlink m1 someone else has built an 800 gal on here for catfish not sure if you saw the thread , but they used this apparently it sticks to glass and liquid rubber like fun
