  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
my jar is really starting to bulk and thicken up

Can't wait to see that jag turtles , my new females come out a bit today she's still pretty beat up but kicking off with the Mayan , how's the jag fry Steve ?

Not too bad... they're only about 6cm but I think I can distinguish males from females and they have already started chasing each other around. Soon enough my friend should take them back once he gets another tank sorted.

so u planing to keep a jag

Turtles you're gonna flip out. Went to a cichlid auction Saturday nite (I'm a real party animal right) and a pair of p.bass monos went for $50. Only bout 4cm each but that's dirt cheap for p.bass over here

Na I'm plenty happy with my rays and jardini. Cichlids aren't really my thing I guess. I want to set up a big rainbowfish tank sometime in the near future, but knowing me I'd just end up saving for a bunch baby jars and leichhardtis when the season reopens lol

haha so what tank you planning to get when your jar out grows it and your really cool rays hahA

also what do you do with all those arowana

That's problem #2. Mite keep that tank and use it for said rainbows (maybe) or I might just let the tank go and get an 8x4 poly tub. I generally sell most of the togas I get from up North but I do like to hang on to a couple. Every year I have my fingers crossed to get a jet black jar in the batch but hasn't happened yet.

or evan a platnium

I've had dozens of platinums... but personally I've only ever seen 1 in jet black. Lost my mind when I saw it. Asked the owner how much he wanted for it... almost cried lol
