Today was finally the day. My pair of Leucosticas finally spawned out of a 5 member colony. They are about two years old. I thought it might be fun to document 4 phases of this spawn. 1. The pre-spawn ritual which is right below. 2. Egg laying and fertilization. 3. Maternal mouthbrooding and tending. 4. Fry grow out. Phases 1 and 2 are complete so I know I will need some luck with phase 3 and 4. Please comment and all suggestions are welcome. Enjoy!

Go the the far right of the posting box and click the "Switch Editor Mode" button. It's the one with the A/A on the far right.
