That would be a hybrid. Those are two different species and the topic of this thread was to determine which of those two species the OP has.
 
I just purchased three from a local LFS that specializes in accuracy of their stock.

My three are juveniles, but they had an adult in the next tank
I'M voting jurupari.

btw I had the opportunity to see the teeth of a "vampire Pleco" up close and personal today. I'm sure many will scoff at my ignorance, bit I'm not into Plecos and i thought it was pretty neat
