Hey guys,

just thought I'd post a few pics of my saum tank set up. Been running for a couple of months. I got out of the hobby 10+ years ago now due to starting a family but just started back at it.

Saums are by far my favorite cichlid especially the whites/silver saums. After getting back into the hobby I've come to find that the whites are hard to come by around my local shops and privately (gold coast, Queensland).
I've tracked down a male so I'm after a white saum female now so I can start breeding them.

Anyways these are my guys.

Not seeing any pics.

Beautiful terrors! One of my favorite cichlids!
Are the crays for cleanup or feeding?

Really nice fish. I was looking forward to your pics because I am contemplating using a 90 gallon tank for a breeding pair.

Thx mate, that's my plan also. I'm buying 2x90 gallon tanks for breeding one pair of whites and one pair of gold's. Keep a few stunners out of the batch and sell the rest.

Yeah, sorry about thame poor quality pics. I'll get a few quality ones up soon.

Grum a quick question. Do you find the Green Terrors to be skittish or shy? The 90 I will be using is in a living room with activity going on including 2 crazy dogs.

Hi Aussieman57

Absolutely not. They are very interactive. I mean they will get spooked/startled but what fish doesn't. My youngest who is 6 is constantly running up and down in front of the tank and they are not phased. I've never known them to be an easily spooked fish. They almost have an Oscar like personality.
