:(today i wen to my lfs and saw a half dead arow laying at the bottom of a ich infested tank, i could no believe it, i asked "how much do you want for your half dead arow" they gave it to me for free.

its still alive and i have it in a 5 gallon bucket with an air pump in it and im treating him for ich, i hope he makes it.:(

Keeping it in a 5g bucket is hardly saving it. Do you plan to keep it there for over two weeks until the ich is gone, and what about the ammonia in the bucket?

i had a 2 inch id shark in a 5 gallon bucket with airpump and it died within 6 hours, idk ,i think you should get the aro out

its gonna die in the bucket bro. atleast get a ten gallon tank goin.

with already cycled water from your main tank.

This would be like if you had been ran over by a car, somebody decides to save you. They take you home and keep you in their garbage can, some save, right?

hahahhah so true its the same, he also wasted his money for medications. it is probably better off in the lfs tank, it has filter + heater and its a tank not a small bucket.

the arow is about 3 inch,im only keeping him in for 24 hours... if i put him in my 10 gallon do you think the ich will spread at all if im treating the water? i dont want my other fish to get it

what do i need to filter if i keep changing the water? the water is from an already up and running tank
