The izzy Sb are awesome I'm glad I got some. I think fishnthehood's is an unfaded parrot x tex cross. Looks awesome.

Nice Thread...SB tex are my Fave fish, I had this pair and did lose almost all the babies to nitrate poisoning and then a thai silk flowerhorn that escaped killing the last 5 except the one shortest who was in his own tank, he turned out to be a very nice fish, who later was beaten by a blood parrot got a small sore that didnt get better

Those are some great looking SB's Bluecan. It's unfortunate that you lost such nice fish but hopefully you get some good breeders and can start over.
Thanks JakeC....I have a couple arriving tonight , hopefully they make it and are fertile! Yes the one surviving baby was super round and super nice,I was so proud of him and was sad to lose him. Izzy bred some stunners as well, and weve both learned a lot from the breeding and that you can outcross to normal bodied fish and still get a lot of SB fry which is really important when it comes to improving the strain. Will post pics of the new monsters hopefully tommorow
