my fascination with mean ass cichlids has rocketed to the moon and im looking for a list of proven "glassbangers" that i can start to research.

i already have dovii.

grammodes, haitiensis, and trimacs have been interesting me lately. not really interested in "petsmart" fish.

True Midas is a great glassbanger!

I guess I will risk posting this suggestion in this forum - what about a Flowerhorn? They can look awsome and be very aggressive. Mine won't let me stick my hand in the tank, and he practically jumps out of the water during feedings.

My red isletas is a serious glass banger so is my jag. My black belt is becoming one and to my surprise my 4" rtm female is getting there

checkout snakeheads or channa micropeltes or mthe many other channa species, they have some good aggression but may not be legal where you are.

Grammodes tend to hide quite a bit. It's a rare glassbanging grammodes.

The dovii fry growing much?

Does anyone here own a "glass banger" Grammode? I'd love to see video of one....
