None of the Cichlids I've encountered in the wild Glassbanged. They all hide because anything larger than them is considered a predator. I have been nipped by breeding cons... But they were breeding. There are no Dovii or umbee in El Salvador but even those will flee rather than risk capture as long as they aren't breeding.

The large Female RTM I brought from El Salvador last august would not come out when I was in the room. Now she is tolerant of my presence and associates me with feeding time so she comes up for food. The two smaller RTM collected in December adjusted to a human presence almost immediately.

Fish will rarely Glassbang in the appropriate size environment. It is a behavioral issue.

As far as the topic goes... Midas are hands down the most common and dedicated Glassbangers.
