I honostly didn't account for the head height, but it will only be around 4 ft. so I'm really not too concerned about it.
My "connection" to cut my glass couldn't get it cut. He scored it, but couldn't get it to break. Anybody know a glass place in Raleigh, NC with a diamond/ceramic blade?

Updates: Today I got the top tank's first coat of drylok on. I'm still looking for a place to get the glass cut. I hope to have all the coats of drylok done by the end of this weekend. I'm also going to start working on figuring out exactly how I want to do the plumbing for the sump. I'm torn between using hose, or using PVC. Any opinions would be great. Ultimately I feel PVC is better, but I'm going to be moving a lot, so I feel like the hose would be better for quick dis-assembly/assembly.
Myself at age would go braided hoses for a show tank. Unless it's a fishroom where you (or your other half) are not going to change their minds about it's placement, the color of the walls, or how much we spend on our hobby! LOL I just think it's better also cause if you have to check or change anything it is easy enough to do and not as messy to fix if you need to replace the PVC.
thanks white brain, I'm definitely going to go with some type of hose untill i get into a more permanent location.
Bad Update, We'll I have my second coat of drylok on, I'm going to go with a few more coats to be on the safe side. I went today to find somoene to cut my glass, and everyone said it's tempered they cant do it. I looked online and found a few "tricks" on how to cut tempered glass. Here's a picture of my results, let me know what ya'll think!
I allready sucked it up and ordered the two pieces of glass I need. According to Garf's website I need 3/8" thick glass, All 5 glass shops I called told me 1/4 tempered was stronger and cheaper, So I order the 1/4" tempered. It'll be here in 4 to 5 business days.

It killed my budget lol. But seeing as how if i don't get this completed by the 28th, I fail the class, I don't have any choice but to finish it. Looks like rice and ramen for me this month
