im looking for something I can bring to my lfs on a reptile leash, sounds weird i know. but I do it with my crested(not on a leash) but if I had like a larger reptile that'd be so cool
Could always go for a classic beardie then. I know ya can get them in a large variety or colors and scale types but they can be a bit spendy depending on what ya want.

I understand that but at your level of experience and how small the enclosure is the biggest lizard you could possibly get is the pink tongue and even then it will need too get a bigger enclosure unless your planning on getting a vision cage or converting one of rooms in your house for a reptile enclosure then I suggest waiting until your a little more experienced and you have the money for the upkeep for big reptiles.

Too be honest every reptile with the word dragon in its name is too hard for a beginner too keep, even beardies are hard for beginners too keep, most agamas are easier too keep than beardies.

Ive never said I’m experienced but I do have expirence I did happen too take care of my cousins beardie for about 2 years so I can say that with a stamp of certification that beardies are not necessarily for most beginners also living in a state dominated mostly by exotic reptiles/owners serves kinda of well too know your reptile facts and then I just wanted too know more about them and this has been going on for as long as I can remember now talking fish thats a different story I don’t as much about fish as I do reptiles. Also If you count all the assorted anoles I kept as pets for a little while and my green iguana that I had and also I‘m taking care of my grandmas red foot tortoise just too say this isn’t the my grandma from florida this is my grandma from peru.

I had a fat tailed gecko and a leopard gecko for 3 years each, you don’t see me strutting around acting like I’m a pro with them.

A reptile mobile, and large enough, to go in a leash would need a longer, wider tank and not a tall one. I think you're chasing a dead end there.
Dang, I would like to maybe get a link tongued skink then.
