Exodons. My lfs has them in stock right now and I really like them. They want $10 each or 3 for $25. The price is kind of high and you would need a lot of them but they're so much cooler than tetras and guppies.

exodons for sure!

if you look around there are also strawberry and platnum tigers out there too! but for a bottom feeder id do like 5-6 cory cats....of what ever species you like,...i prefer sterbai but thats me...and id go with 2 bristlenose plecos for the algae they max out at 6 inches for males and 4 for females and are by far the best algae eater ive found in my 17 years of fishkeeping.

I have seen some ghost catfish at my lfs and they are in like groups of 10 or so and all chill together. its really cool to see

50-60 neons along with 15-20 rummy nose tetras. Panaque maccus, dwarf chain loaches/kuhli loaches and cories for bottom.

I've always been partial to Silver Dollars. A tank full of them looks awesome.

how many neons and other small tetras could i put in a 30 gallon with heaps of filtraion with no other tank mates

rummy nose rasbora
Nice suggestion.:) For anyone who doesn't get what exactly this fish is, search on google as Sawbwa resplendens. Most of us in AC actually have these fish and is offered for sale by one of the mods there if anyone wants them.:)
