I wish we had cichla here in the Socal lakes...I would be fishing everyday!!

its more than possible in sd if the winter didnt go below 76 summer is fine.

I see some nice spangeleds and pleanty of babies again! The water has been so high this season that its hard to document, but our breeders are back in buisness Im even starting to see 6" ers from the early spawns I couldnt collect. I will sien some up this week and post some pictures. Im glad I kept the breeders in doors last winter. We only lost a few pairs and youth that we werent able to collect back up. As of today looks like everythings back to normal until November. Then we will have to collect up the pairs again and house them indoors for winter. Keep veiwing for more updates and pictures..
