Scobina pups born this weekend

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Thanks guys, I'll try and get some updates of the rest of my rays here shortly. Peter did your scobinas produce alot of pups or just a couple pups each time they bred? And what did you feed the pups?

Those are beautiful rays!

hi skynoch, my female always had three pups. feeding them was not always eays, i fed them red mosquito larvae the first days, this was quite sucessfully, but there were some pups which ate only Enchytraeidae the first days.

the ray on the left side was my best pup. (my opinion)

The ray on the left is stunning. Where these worms live? All I can get around here is frozen foods or huge canadian nightcrawlers which won't work for such small mouths. What temp was your pup tank at?

lol, Hey Lyder I think there are alot of people out there that think I have a secret stash of rays. I really wish there was more of these around Canada as they are a very nice managable ray like aquaman said and they are one of the best options for small tank owners to be able to keep rays. I really don't know of another Canadian on the boards that has any so I could switch some pups. Hopefully this thread will stir up some action for some guys to import some from oversees. My male is around 7" and my female is around 10-11". I'll follow up with some parent pics when I get some time to clean up the glass.

Like the pic number one Very nice!!!
