He is $90, Someone had bought it and it was supposed to be shipped to Virginia I think, I could give you their phone number if you want and they may still have it.

Not enough room now, I am trying to see if I would be able to do a 120 in the future. I don't want to get one until I know I can.

Welcome to Monster Fish keeping - Most Characins get claustrophobic alot of them get 16" or larger, most of our tank sizes are large but not quite large enough - they are all a bastard to keep long term and death is a guaranteed asspect of keep them.

There is a line between monster fish keeping and having a totally inappropriate setup. People with the goldfish in the bowl are not fish keepers. If I want to see a fish, I can just google it. If I want to see it in action then I need to provide everything it needs to be comfortable enough to do what it needs to. If the fish kills itself because it is trying to swim through the glass all day it's not very fun. Even when I had the scomb, it went from being active all day in a 180 to being a lurker in a 20. I would much rather see the fish being active.

Don't get me wrong - I wasn't trying to dig on you just point out that you can give your characins the best - and the worst can still be enevitable. It's a welcomed challenge. If my LFS had Tats @ $70 I wouldn't think twice they'd be mine - all of them. All mine carries seasonally is Scombs now listed on their website as Rhaphs but they are 100% Scombs 5-6" $60.
