The sad part is that there aren't any male grammodes in my area. There is a female at one of my lfs around 4 inches and it glass bangs. It's pretty cool, but I would need a male 1st before I buy it. It's only $8.99. I would love a male like yours.mohinder;1970903; said:
Yeah it was a good deal. What's funny is I was complaining about the price to the guy because it was priced at $49.99 and he gave me $10 off lol.

Grammy's come around here every once in a while but they're usually an inch long. This is the first grown one I've seen. I bought the other male at an inch and it's 2" now....you can have it for the $8.99 I paid for it.
I want a big male, lol. I don't want to grow them out. I've heard of horror stories about growing grammodes out and it wasn't so pretty. They take too long to grow.
Lol. That's the only downfall about grammodes, but when you grow out a quality specimen, then it is totally worth it. I just don't have the time right now.
I'm so jealous, lol. That's an awesome speciman. I wish I could've walked in on a deal like that. Please post some more pics after he's been in your tank a couple of weeks. 
I've been looking for a grammodes for about six months now. The only LFS around that has them wants $90 each for 2". There's no way I'm paying that. I may end up biting the shipping bullet and getting some from Ken at Fishfarm or Jeff Rapps if I can get one at a decent size.
