Screw you Electricity!

Had a power outage from around 5am till 12pm. Luckily I was home to stick in the battery powered bubble makers and siphon tank water through my filter every couple hours.

No ill effects that I can notice everyone is eating fine and no ammonia present after the normal twice a day feedings.

On a side note it was like 10 degrees out at 5 am I was freezing my but off by 12pm

LOL funny thing is I felt the same way. I sent the wife to the inlaws while I froze and cared for my fish

I had a power outage a week or so ago, the power was out for several ours so every 20 mins i used a whisk to make bubbles and created water movement with my hand. Ive now orderd a battery powered air pump and have bought 2 large packs of D batteries. Best to be prepared hey.

I had a 2 hour power outage a few months ago, I now have an 8,000W generator and 15 gallons of gas in my garage. Should be enough to keep some of the heaters going and the main filter pumps if theres another outage.

What is this bubbler you're talking about? Blew a fuse couple weeks ago working on my car went into my room only to realize that I did so. My rays must have been without power for an hour before I realized and the temp dropped about 7 degrees in that small amount of time.
