also we found it very benefitial to put a sponge filter on the canister intake as they grazed on the stuck foods quite often. and cut down on fiter maintnance.
unstopable4700;1712545; said:seahorses are not illeagal to keep but they have stopped harvesting lots of species of wild ones. as far as keeping them, we had ours 2 years a group of three, and a pipe fish. they were kept in a 30 hex w/ mag350 filter, a stack of live rock up the middle darn near to the top, and live seaplants of some sort(looked like fern leaves). ours were fed mysis, brine, and we once found a flake food they took for a while. they had no fish or inverts w/ them. we often hatched and feed live brine. they were not hard to keep just had to think about what your dealing with. we had the chance too get a breeding pair but the wifey has become the crazy puffer lady as of late, so maybe after the move and the new 90gallon. feel free to ask any spiciefics if you like.also ours were dwarf seahorses.
