Back when i started in the hobby, i didnt even use conditioner, straight tap. How I lasted this long in the hobby gods know how
LOL I don't even know water conditioner until I moved to US.
Raining season in my country around 6 months long so I just collect the rain water and store in a huge urm(s) (200G) and use it for in house tank, or run a water line from nearby river direct to my pond and other line from other pond side back out to river...never do water change :P

One follows the instructions on the bottle.

The instructions that do not mention anything about adding it to RO water? Are you always this condescending and unhelpful, or is it reserved for people who haven't posted much? I hope not, as you have a lot of posts....
He does not want to explain. You add the dosage of prime for the amount of CHLORINATED water. If it is half RO dose half. I use a sodium thiosulfate mix and double dose it to be safe, but prime is pretty accurate.

I figured you wouldn't need to does for the prime, but since its a thread about Prime, I figured I would ask.

Thanks for the helpful response.

Personally, I think this would be fine. But looking at the question, the Tap water and RO are already mixed so...

...technically, and, if you follow the directions, I think you would dose for the entire volume of tap water and RO. I look at it as adding Tap water to existing tank water that has been treated. If you go on that premise, directions say add to full volume. UNLESS, the OP added Prime to the tap water BEFORE mixing with RO. Not intending to over analyze, just calling out the minor nuances depending on the steps.

critical thinking folks. lmfaooo, why is there even a 3 page thread on this? OP when in doubt just dose whole tank, not like theres detrimental effects for dosing whole tank when u dont have to besides on ur wallet of course.
