I started fresh with no BB and same with the other tanks I have cycled using stability, so I have not yet had a bloom. I would just start your WC regiment as soon as you hit bingo on ammonia. It will cleasr up in no time.

Any DSLR tank shots of the cloudy water/bloom?

i will tomorrow morning.. tank lights are off right now. i should be done in a day or two. hopefully.

You will. I have never had it take me longer than 5 days although the description says to go for 7 days. My geophagus abalios just spawned again so in the next 5 days I will need to use this to cycle another tank. Good chance to compare fishless cycle along side fry/stability in the two 55g's. :D

Hopefully tyhe fry can produce enough of a food source to make it a fair fight. Fry/hospital tanks are the best use of this product IMO...

cloudiness isnt as bad as the one posted in the second page i believe... i cant see from the right end to through the left end, and vise versa.

For those who have a bacteria bloom after using Stability or any other product, what is the best approach to clear water? Would you say WC, UV sterilizer or time?

well WC should fix it over time...

I would avoid the use an any UV sterilizer at all while using any product with this intent. The bateria are added to the water column directly and the UV will kill free floating bateria, potentially rendering it far less effective or even usless all together. A bloom is not harmfull, just not great to look at. I would finish the cycle, and resume WC's.

The cloudyness will go away as things stabalize in addition to your WC's.
