Check out the Seattle Aquarium, just a stones throw from PP Market. I rented the place and was married in the dome. Marriage didn't work out, but I'm sure the aquarium is still good. It's also worth going up to the space needle.

I’m personally not found of the Seattle Aquarium- after going to the Monterey Aquarium and a few others when I lived in California it was WAY disappointing!

I was thinking the same thing...lol

Especially after the Steinhart Aquarium. Is the Needle really worth going to? :nilly: I mean is there any real history behind it? Is it anything more than a nice view?

Do you ski or snowboard? Not in Seattle but not far from there is some kick ass snowboarding right now!

Yes to both BUT not that kind of trip...

oh and food wise- as bigspizz suggested the Metropolitan Grill is the hottest spot in town!

Sounds promising!

Keep the suggestions coming! :)

Space needle is worth it. There is a lot of history. I think it was built for the worlds fair, long ago. It was once a show of modern technology in the US. It takes 50 seconds to get to the top. If you have been to the stratosphere in Vegas, this will disappoint you. It is less than 500 ft tall, and the stratosphere is over 1000 ft tall. The food and gifts are expensive at the needle. It is in Seattle center, so there is much else to do. It is just one of the many attractions at the Seattle center. Overall, the Seattle center is an absolute must for any first time visitor :)
