Seattle Info needed?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
You could go to the touristy parts or could try to hook up with locals who know the real good food spots ;P. Here's some you may want to look up.

Salumi's - good luck getting a sandwich w/o a line only open for lunch Downtown Seattle
Judy Fu's - Homemade Noodles ftw! North Seattle
Szechuan 99 - Extremely good Chinese food outside of Chinatown.
El Gaucho's - Great Steaks here as well Downtown Seattle

Those are a few of my favs heh
I'll try to name more obscure and/or unnamed spots in Western Washington.
Could also go check out the Frank Gehry designed EMP. Ballard Locks, The Fremont Troll, Olympic Sculpture Park, Museum of Flight, Pacific Science Center(basically Seattle Center), Seattle Art Museum, if it were warmer i'd say give the Ducks a shot lol

Let me know when you're coming and i'll try and see if Ted's available and you can check out the Monster fish at his place.. That's always a must see.. Also China Town is a good spot to check out for fish too..

Thanks all, thou sooooooo many people have told me that the Needle is not worth it...lol

I don't think the needle is worth it too. Seattle Center (which the needle is on) is cool to check out. Pacific Science center is there too. I think you would enjoy that cuz your a teacher. You gotta have dim sum at Jade Garden in the international district (Chinatown). They got award winning dim sum. If you get to check out Ted's tank, I'd be so jealous!!! I haven't seen it!!! Anyway, when your here, relax, enjoy, and I hope it doesn't rain!!! Lol!!! Summers here are dope though. Sunset is around 9pm!!!

My best friend just came back from Seattle, told me I would love it there...

Unless of course it rains!!!

Seattle is a cool, but large city. Tell us how much time and money you have to spend and it will make it easier to recommend things.

Taking a ferry ride is one of the few things everyone I have shown Seattle to really loves. You can just walk on after exploring Pikes Place and the waterfront and go for an hour long ferry ride. Cheap too. If it's nice out you can see Rainier and if you're lucky you can see pods of orcas.

I've never been up the Space Needle...and don't plan on it. The Seattle aquarium sucks as well when compared to the other ones I've seen in the nation.

You could always try to get tickets to the Sounders FC...I've got season tickets and their first game was a blast.

Hows the race track there?

lol
