Glad to hear the pup is doing well, and congrats on the upcoming litter. That didn't take long...
I bought a wc retic back in December. Took a week before it would eat blackworms. Finally got him to eat tiny red wrigglers, and eventually weaned him onto other frozen foods. Took a lot of work but really small pieces of food were required. Keep us updated.

The little one now eats cut up night crawlers, market shrimp, mysis, and of course all ray's favorite black worms. She is going to be a big sister any day now. I am figuring between the 15-30 of November for the new pup's. Mom is HUGE and looking quite miserable, but there is at least 2 this time. I went ahead and set up a 30 gallons that is ran straight through with the main system for the new pups just to make it easier on feeding them. We are leaving the country for an extended vacation 11-28 of December so my fish sitter shouldn't have any issues making sure the babies are well fed. Well I don't worry much about the fish anyway this vacation as I have the famous Miles comming by to check on them as often as he is able to. Oh and he is bringing somebody by to do as he calls "glamour shots" LOL hopefully Bruse my male will take it easy on Tundra this time and she will look beautiful in her photo's instead of half eaten :) Looking forward to the vacation of a lifetime with my kids and folks but still have to worry about my pets. So after this most recent litter is born I may start selling the pups. Still not sure if I want to ship them....any thoughts?

Glad the little girl is doing well. Any updated pictures? Congrats for the next litter too. Hope you get a bunch this time.
Where are you going for vacation? Are you really sure you can trust that fish sitter?:grinno: He could help with shipping.

Yeah I am pretty sure I can trust "that fish sitter" LOL we are doing Disneyworld for 7 days then Puerto Rico for 4 days then an 8 day cruise leaving from Puerto Rico.

Have fun. Hope it's not a Carnival ship.

Yeah it's carnival but they have gotten alot better. We are taking 5 kids so we wanted the kids program more than anything and it was one of the only cruise ships that had staterooms to accomodate 5 people in one room instead of us splitting up. My first cruise was carnival, the ship was great the itinerary sucked since then I have cruised Princess, Norwegian, and Celebrity. Wanted to do Royal but with the kids it was twice the cost with not as good of an itinerary, ya get what you can take right.

Soooo my BF went today to the LFS to get a new bulk head.....and came home with a breeding pair of discus! WTH now yes they are gorgeous but I know nothing of discus, now obviously my LFS has complete confidence in me since I have done so well with the ray's but lordy these fish scare the hell out of me. I was much more comfortable getting more ray's! Please any advice y'all can give me would be greatly appreciated. And with the ray's is there even a snow balls chance in hell that they will actually breed in my tank or will all the babies just get gobbled up? I am so damn confused!
