notice all of them are dead.

The only good snake is a dead snake.

And for what it is worth, animals have the RIGHT to:
1. be delicious.
2. fit well.

Short term memory problems huh?!

#1. It's HIS BROTHER'S snake !

#2. It's obvious your new here or you wouldn't make that " Lets see him take care of fish" comment.

With all your 'years of experience' you should understand the difference between answering someone's question about pricing and unsolicited criticism.

I'm going to try my best to ignore all snake-hate comments, as they're by far my favorite pets to have. Although, everyone has a right their own opinion; I, for one, hate birds...except when they're fried.

Back to the topic, I do have to agree that the snake doesn't appear to be taken care of in the most ideal way, but its obviously no fault of the the person trying to sell it. My initial recommendation is to give it to a local animal shelter that is equipped to handle herps. If its a female and in fairly decent condition, you might get lucky and find a breeder who would pay top dollar, possibly over $100. But aside from that, I agree with Walls; you probably won't get more than 30-40 bucks off it. If time is more of a factor than getting some extra cash. then I would just give it to anyone who will take care of it and get started setting up that 55 for your own agenda.

OK all jokes aside...how is it that anyone can come to these conclusions from such poor pix (sorry CHOMPERS) with reflections and all. Online pix & at petshops the snakes are mostly curled up / not moving & KEPT IN 10G-15G tanks. This one is alert and active, it has water & a happy rock, life is good for a snake.

True, its hard to determine anything about the snake itself, but the tank looks very grubby (probably due to neglect), there is no visible substrate (snake is just sitting on the bare bottom of a glass tank), and there's that object that the snake is sitting on. If its a cave, then its too small; if its a hot rock, then very very bad for the snake and shame on its caretaker (which Chomper has established isn't him).

There are no clear heating elements shown either, but in all fairness, we don't see the terrarium in its entirety, and the lamps/undertank heaters (i.e. the proper heat sources for any snake) could very well be on the other side of the tank not shown.

1. You apparently have never seen what a GOOD/IDEAL snake set-up looks like.

2. I have been keeping boa's and pythons for the better part of 20 years......the snake is living in poor conditions and is UNDER WEIGHT. Sorry you cant tell the difference.

3. Nice HEALTHY "normal" dault BP's usually sell for $75-$100 in a shop. NO WAY I would pay more than $35 for that one.

4. Life is OBVIOUSLY not good for that snake. :(

5. I agree with the other people that said "donate" it to someone that could get it back to decent condition.
