i am looking for colorfull semi aggressive fish for my tank. can anybody help. no more the 8 in long

I've heard Nicaraguenses are colorful and fairly peaceful, I am considering one for my tank right now as well. I think the males get a little bigger than 8" though.

green terror, might get slightly bigger than 8 inch but they are so full of personality

i have a 55 gallon tank with 2 rainbow cichlids, 2 silver dollars, 2 parrot fish, and 6 other small community fish

I wouldn't put a green terror in there with those fish, it'd make pretty short work of them from what I've read. I don't know that you should put another fish that size in that tank, but if you do, the less aggressive the better.
