I would remove that substrate. WAY too humid for a leo. I would stick to paper towel or tile since its so young. Have 3 hides, 1 on the hot side, 1 on the cool side, and 1 humid. That way it can decide which hide it likes.

I agree. EcoEarth substrate is more for tropical species. Other than that the gecko looks good!

A humid hide can be added during shedding period to encourage a healthy shed. Otherwise it is not necessary.

I disagree with this. I think a humid hide should be present at all times. That way they can loosen the skin before shed without us having to notice that it is time for shed.
