I think I wouldnt use that substrate you are using just as a precausion, kitchen paper would be safer for now

i was planning in buying sand but didn't know which one to get, the girl at the petstore was like a breeder or something and said that this was the best.
its cheap though so idc if i have to remove it lol

I would have to say paper towel and tile is THE best substrate for leos. Paper towel because you don't have to worry about cleaning it you can just toss it and at 99 cents a roll no one can tell me they can't afford a few months worth. And tile because it is easy to clean and it distributes ground heat the best and stays nice and warm longer if you power goes out.
