Sen Aggression

That will be cool. Ive always wanted to keep a chocolate but have never had success with any I got. Usually too aggressive of tankmates took them out in no time.
 
If ya lived closer I'm gonna have two spares in a month or so lol.

All the cichlids I am adding are typically on the low end of the aggression scale. Soo I figure it should work out. Just concerned about the bio load a bit but I loaded the fluval 406 with mostly ceramic rings to help compensate. All my bichirs are smaller upper jaws so they should not be an issue once the cichlids hit 3.5 " .

Yeah just a couple miles too far away for that.

I learned the hard way trying to keep chocolates with some vieja types and they killed them rather quickly. Im keeping a much more peaceful type of cichlid now too so likely I could add one now. The problem is it would have to be large enough not to fit in a big polys mouth.

No he has been gone a long time now. He was a rebound fish. I made a dumb rookie mistake and introduced two wild caught cichlids into an established tank and whatever hell that was unleashed wiped out almost the entire tank. I lost a very outgoing friendly midas and many more. I spent a long time looking for a replacement and I has kept just about everything imaginable until I finally got my current stock. Binge Binge , sorry for the derail. You talked of getting cichlids and look what happened, lol.

How is the horny sen doing? Mellowed any? Has it broken any heaters trying to mate? lol

He is still chaseing like mad...he is lucky she doesnt mind she is twice his thickness.

Lost the albino today guess he was more hurt than I thought or maybe he pissed of the 7 inch fat bn plec in the tank I moved him tooo.... Can't find any new injuries tho..
