just did it, looks like a tumor? i'd describe it as a liquid encased in a flimsy plastic ball. it was soft and easily broken

yea shes right... a tumour would not be liquid... unless it was like a scyst(mispelled)
a tumor would be harder....

Very humanely done...I applaud your informative autopsy after loosing a pet. I wonder if he could have had the growth sucked out with a needle? Or at least the liquid. Hmmmmm I wonder what it was.

ah well. i'm feeling kinda bad that i didn't do anything abt it earlier..but i'm not one to cry over spilt milk. so i just hope i've helped at least one person learn a lesson, if there's something wrong with yr pet and you don't know what it is, GO SEE A VET!!! it sucks to watch a pet writhe around in pain, i can assure you that

aneuysim is basically a rupture of fluid into an area. I would say its more like a sist, but regardless you wouldn't really know what is going on till you open the fish.
