dang, senegals are as common as gold fish in petstore now. perhap they are out of season?

could also only live 20 km apart. also there will be stores throughout ontario along the lines of pet smart that could be a possibility that i have no knowledge of. there are also possibly online sources available to Canadians that I have no knowledge of. point I was trying to make was if one reads the post properly they will be in a better position to offer assistance

no worries mate. luckily for me senegals are common here. ornates and delhezi show up often too, and some of the other species from time to time too but you have to go to the right place. some shops where I am just have the basic selection 'bread and butter' fishes I guess. nice shops but can be boring if you want something different. my advice to anyone is get friendly with the staff at a lfs and ask them to order in what you want. great shop near me are on the lookout for a couple species for me. when they appear on the stocklist they'll order for me. Don't forget all shops want to make money at the end of the day and if they dont see a demand for a certain species they most likely wont stock it.

salvinis are very aggro. they will either kill ur senegal or completly ignore it hard to say
