Ok dude thnx man ,. ewery body -.-i m gona as some new pictures soon .,.,
case my piranhas has started showing red eyes one of them ..,.,so is it only rhoms who get reed eyes ,.,.when they r that small .,.ore .,case that would be the easiest way 2 id .,.with ,the eyes.-.happy ,.,.luck dude,.

The red eye, om it's own, is not the sole indicator for rhoms.
Other species also show a reddish-orange to red eye. But rhombs differ from these other species, by ending up with a deep, deep ruby-red eye.
You won't be mistaken once your fish have grown to maturity.

But unless you have pulled your fish out of it's native water yourself, you will never be sure, wheter you have a true rhomb, or a closely related specie.

It's a *****, but a fact.

To demonstrate what I mean, look at this pic.

This picture alone would define this specimen, as a juvenile S. gibbus. But as I have been informed it originates from western Brazil, it's more likely a Rhomb with elongated appearance. The tricky thing here is; can I trust the information on origin I have recieved? Most likely not. So I know nothing at the end of the day.

ohh dude the one of mine looks exakly the same like this one ,.,when i have him out the water .,. .,.,but the one has red eyes.,.,and it strange i heard rhoms should get red eyes.,. when the r 8-cm-12 m,mand the one of mine is showing red eyes now more n more .,.but not the other one .,.,m,m i m gona take some nex pictures oki ,.,.,.ps,.,.the one i think is a rhomb is not growing at all this f ker.,., is still the same i had them 5 months now but the other one is growing fast so i dont think he is a rhom .,.,take care .,.,
