I think you try to find a way around peoples answers to make life easier for you. IE too hard to use the right substrate so keep pressing for potting soil.. same with food for your monitor, etc. I understand some people aren't rich, don't have transportation everywhere but if it's going to make your life that much harder to care for it correctly then it's best not to take on the animal.

We're just trying to help. It just seems like overall, you ask questions, and disregard the answers you get if they are not convenient to you. This is not the first time this has happened with you in this forum. Just understand, that it is frustrating to those that are trying to help you out, that's all.

wow basically what I was saying..

Large, if we are going to continue to help you, you've got to throw us a bone here.

With your attitude, you seem to think you already know it all, so why you even post questions on here I don't know. Just to hopefully confirm your beliefs?

Before you go flaming us for giving you a hard time, here's a few facts that apply to myself and others on here who have tried to help you out:

1. We care about your herps.
2. We want your herps to be healthy.
3. We love the hobby and want you to have a positive experience with your herps too.

Its insulting that you call us instigators or "wouldn't take our opinion anyway." It borders on complete ignorance when you can't identify that someone is giving you good advice and genuinely wants to help you out.

All this over potting soil...:hitting:

Think he's 18 actually..

okay i dont have much (actually any expeirence) with frogs however i use organic potting soil that contains a bit of saph moss for my red foots. one it has saph to help hold humidity, two it has no fertalizers (those white balls), three its cheap ($2.50 for one cubic foot...for those who need that explained it will fill an area 12in long 12 in wide and 12 in deep) thats a nice size o dirt...its quick easy to change readily available...probably pretty muddy however with all the moisture of a pac man enclosure...

If you tell us the reason why you insist on doing things you do, then we might be able to help you. If it is money problems, then some of us already been there, and might help you out. If it a problem with the avaliability of the products nearby, we will help you out there.

From our viewpoint, it just seem like someone, like prehaps your mom or dad, is restricting your choices or you are trying to prove your opinion is right over everyone's else.

Now we care about your herps and the hobby. If the hobby is enjoyable overall, then you will find it enjoyable as well since you will have a peace of mind that your specimen are in good hands.

No serious.. He's 18.. pretty sure.. I asked in another thread..

Do NOT use an under tank heater...pacman frogs will push and get themselves down into the substrate all the way to the bottom. An UTH not controlled by a thermostat will burn the frog. Obviously depending on the depth but why risk it? Go with overhead lighting, use a SAFE substrate and mix some moss in there. Mist daily, no problems.
