Setting up 700 gallon can't decide on going pressurized or good old wet/dry

The MFK members that have arapaima and keep them long term, have 8,000, 10,000, 50,000 gallon tanks.
Thanks for the recommendation I went with the swordtail pump and I'm going to run everything underneath my sump so I don't have to worry about any flow issues at all...
Stand is built sitting in the living room aquarium is painted walls back and bottom black going to start putting it together this weekend hopefully adding water
I'm still scratching my head on the overflow with the 4/2 inch bulk heads and whether or not I'm going to put two more holes on the left side and right side middle for poop removal...
I had a freshwater stingray with my peacock bass but not with my puffer and that stingray ruled the tank she was so awesome but my mbu puffer was so docile the peacock bass would pick on him and bully him ,,,if I do add a stingray it will be the last addition I just like their activity their swimming their personality and mind love to be touched all the time and the only reason she died if she got her nose caught in a corner somehow on my background and cut it real bad and got infected
I had eleven holes like these drilled across the top of my tank. Six are for poop suckers.
ok i see what youre talking about now ...for some reason i thought you had the bottom drilled and the top , unfortunately mine has the masive overflow in the backwall center with the 4 - 2" holes and 4 1.5 inch on top for returns ..since i am gonna run a closed lop surley the flow rate of 4 -2" BH can keep up with that new yellowtail pump and kep me from puttin6 7oo gallons on the flor if it ever leaks via the overflow level...also are YOU gonna put foam on the bottom ?? iam thinking just level stand and plywood is all i need for acrylic

Dont think i have a choice i think iam going to try to remove the internal overflow box but i think its glued so it may be very hard to do or drill tons of holes in it,,i wonder what bulkehead gasket failure rate is ....lol
Bulkhead failure rate is 2 out of 4 on our 300 gallon. That's how hard our big brutes ram the pipes. Very glad we don't have holes drilled in the back of the tank. The only reason the other 2 bulkheads are OK is because they are tucked in a corner hiding next to an overflow box which is protecting them.
For our big tank, we went with 1" marine grade plywood with 1" foam on top. There are different theories to foam/to not foam. Chris at Midwest Custom Aquariums told us to put foam under our 300 gallon tank. The salesman at Fishtanks Direct that we purchased our big tank from said to put the tank directly on plywood. We decided to put foam under the tank. I think there are more acrylic tanks with foam under them than not. We were also told to leave the plywood free floating on the stand. We bolted the plywood down with carriage bolts. Had to use an engine hoist to keep the tank lifted up while we placed the foam sheets underneath. We had the tank on blocks until we got the foam underneath it.
That's awesome thanks again for all ur help and everything u know u have certainly done ur homework ,,, since my over flows ar so big ️And the divider is glued iam gonna leave the internal box and use two of the predrilled holes for poop suckers or have my pump I use in my wet sink in the garage and just turn it on like I did when I had my other tank just hooked it up from the interior wall kinda like those vacumes that work in all rooms ,,, pretty easy to do plug n play just wanted automated ,,,and I'll prolly go that route anyway ,,, I'll take pics of everything as this will be my build thread thanks again I've used several of ur links and ideas doing this so far
