Oh I entend to post every step of the way. I'll need the help i'm sure.
By the way the time line ? was more for individual fish stocking. I've read , almost everywhere, that the angle should be one of the last inhabitants added to the tank. Most places say it's because of algea stands that are produced. With that being said flame angles are from deeper water where algea is not as abondent, correct, and they eat meatier fare. So why would I have to wait 6 months, as most articles have said, befroe adding the flame angel. Not that I mind, I know flame angles will eat algea, but not as a main food source.
Cant help you here, now I am just lost. If you are worried about algae availability for the flame angel, you can always feen sheets of nori on a veggie clip.
What is a good temp for this tank? I was thinking 78*F, sound good?
Thats in the acceptable range.
Also is black or blue the best color for a background? I know everyone will have a different color and reasons to support it, I just want to know what you guys think. Right now the tank is 2 tone, Black back and left side and carolins blue right side.
Really all going to come from preference. I have a pic of my background that I will post when I get home.
I hope to have the tank emptied out this weekend, if i can sell of my africans, and should post pics sometime next week or so.
Good luck on selling.
Thanks,
David
