Dang that is some good looking stuff!! I might have to hit this guy up:headbang2 How does shipping plants in the mail work? I just wondering how long they can survive in the shipping process..

I've shipped to the other side of the country simply using priority mail and the plants have done just fine. Obviously there are some plants which do ship better than others but 3-4 days in the mail doesn't fade most of them.

If some of the specimen has died off, do you remove it or do you give it a chance?

Well it depends if it's turned into mush or still greenish yellow looking. Lol. If it's got signs of green then by all means I'll give it a chance. :nilly:

Sounds good! I got a rangeri sword from the LFS. I went to surf earlier this morning and found some graphite rock under a bridge. These pieces are pretty cool and Im just trying to figure out some configurations. Because of recent storms, there was quite a bit of drift wood left on the beach and Im going to try a "tree" type look. Of course its all going to suck until I get some cover plants:( I am interviewing for a job next Wednesday so that should provide fuel my addictions with my tanks :D ill get some pics up when I get the chance. I just have a lot to do in school and I have class at 8pm tonight so that BLOWS!!! anyway Im just keeping you guys updated:D:D:D

This is what Im shooting for..

Very cool. Simple yet complicated lol.

Well class sucked! but eh thats college I guess. ya the only thing im going to do differently from that pic is add some rock features. these graphite pieces have great definition and are proportioned fairly well...im soaking them and the drift wood in some boiling water right now to kill any nasties and hopefully have some pics soon!
