nice background. what are you stocking it with?
I have a 8" Black Arowana, a couple large Silver Dollars and Bala Sharks, and a 6" Pleco. I would like to add 2 to 3 more blacks. Some Dats would be nice for mid level and on the bottom I would like a cat or two, my favorite is the Niger Cat (Oxydoras niger ) or most likely I will go with Bichirs for the bottom. I can't decide but I'm having a blast thinking about it!

I bought a 4X8 sheet of 3/4" styrofoam and cut in 8 foot lengths. Roughly 6" then 5" then 4" and so on to build a slope that's suppose to look like a river bottom? I glued all the sheets together and glued it to the bottom and back of the tank and I let it dry over night. Today I painted it with DryLoc paint and some concrete tint to make it a sort of brown color hopefully matching the background. Then I'm going to glue the Mesa Rock Wall background above that and it's suppose to look good! Crossing fingers.........

I got a couple rocks that match the background and I installed them lower to break up the line between the styrofoam and the background. I'm going to let everything dry for the next couple days. Then another coat of paint with a slightly different shade to break everything up.

I got some gravel, wood, rocks, basically this tank is finished. I'm going to build a canopy for the tank to cover the lights and plumbing up there. I think I'm going to paint the stand darker. Other wise this baby is ready for some fish.
It's still a little cloudy but here's a few pics.....
