Severum Fans, need ya for a minute!!!!

I'm about to do an order from Rapps and need some help choosing ONE type of Severum. These will be in a 125 gal with a few Geos and Satanoperca.


Feel free to post pics of your sevs to help me in deciding, along with any tips you think I might need to know.

I voted appendiculatus, But It's not a good vote since they are all on my wish list as well. So many Sevs so little time , and not nearly enough tanks.

I'd go with rotkeil, I find them the most attractive

Hi. I am just trying to decide on the same sort of combo for my 120 gallon. I think the rotkeils are the prettiest especially when they mature but the golds I just rescued are nice too.
Just so I can judge how my setup should be, how many sevs are you putting in the tank and which and how many geos.. Any advice you can give me on the combo would be greatly appreciated. I was thinking the pair of gold sevs and maybe some orangeheads or redhumps if I can find either.

i dont know much about severums in general but here are the rotkeils i picked up from rapps.

They are a true beauty and i see lots of potential even at their small size.

so i voted for rotkeil.

I also voted for the Atabapo ... there was a thread in the photo gallery of a pair that, imo, blew the rotties away (which I do like btw).

Yeah, they are a little larger than I want, Although I would have bought the 'NOTATUS' but they sold FAST!!!

Ok in that case my vote remains, Atabapo first....Rotkeil second.
