What's the difference between a line bred and a hybrid?
Yes he is from Marc, today he is swimming alot more and actually fighting back when my Molly picks on him, He is a little shy but the Molly is the only other swimming fish so I am not sure yet how he is.
Do the females not have the long point on the dorsal fin?
Lineage: his parents are crosses between EBJD and Gold JD, they both carry the Blue genes and the gold genes, the chances of getting ones colored like him are 6%, the other 94% will all be Gold JD or EBJD. Marc says it only works if you don't inbreed. So the parents of the ones you want to get can not be from the same EBJD and Gold JD.
Sadly Marc won't be breeding them any more
The JD has only been in the tank for a day now, EBJD temperament is a lot less aggressive than regular JD so I doubt if he will eat my crabs, but I guess well find out. Plus he is only 3" atm so I don't think he is big enough to eat the crabs.
