Oh, I am planning on getting an EBJD too, TRUST ME!

^ helpful link. Honestly I am really scared to vent him, I really do not want to hurt him. What if he flops around and then falls or gets hurt. I have never handled a fish except for netting to re-home it. I want to know what he is but I do not want to hurt him. Any tips for handling?

Great looking fish, looks like a male. It's not a hybird tho. Just selective breeding just like with EBJDs. Cool find

Some one said he was line-bred, does that just mean that two different fish from the same breed (jack Dempsey) were crossed? Where hybrid is two different breeds or families?

His coloring has not changed, then again I have only had him for a week so we will see what happens once he gets bigger.

Szar: If you breed your EBJD, I get dibs to one, they are gorgeous. Do all of them get a little green on them when they get bigger?
