Sex my polleni please

Thanks guys, that's what I also thought. Notho2000 are those your pollenis? If so they're beautiful my polleni isn't nearly that solid with the blue spots. He's got like brown areas and I read that's from stress:/ he was pure black before I put that stupid kenyi in (who terrorized him)

Yes, this is what's left of a spawn (~35) of about 300 that took place about 11 months ago. The 'polleni' in the picture are around 5" (M) and 4" (F). They are pretty much always blackish, and showing their blue/white dots except when they are stressed ((water change time). Yours will most likely retain its color more as it matures. Here's a pic of one of my mature breeding pairs (with newly free swimming fry) for comparison (M-10", F-8")

i have a male polleni about that size and a male and a female bleekri . im trying to pair the bleekri up but it doesnt seem to be working the male just bullies the female so i had to put a divider in .

I didn't do anything special that I noticed. Just kept them well fed and kept up with the water changes. And they spawned 3 times about 3 weeks apart. I count myself lucky on that one. Sorry, I can't pass on any tricks. Wish I could

How old are these?
The young are 10~11 months old. The breeding pairs are about 2 1/2 years

IME, the amount of spotting is highly variable from fish to fish.My females do not have consistently more spotting some outshine the males and vice versa.
