sexing juvenile dovii

Hi i was wondering if it is possible to sex dovii as juveniles 3-4inches and if so, how? Just picked up a little tyke yesterday at that size and was hoping for a male (of course). The breeder told me he was about 80% sure its male but i tried to pick a slightly less dominant fish and as a result it is kinda hard to tell. Any pics/info would be appreciated and i PROMISE will post some pics on here shortly when i get home..

dovii are really not that hard to sex once they get to about 6"

I just bought this Dovii 4 days ago. Its approx. 2 1/2 in. long. I am hoping for a male. Check my photos and see what it is.

At that size youll never be able to tell.

it not that hard to sex a female dovii if u can get the pix up im sure we ll get it for u ..if there is blk marking on the face mostlikly a female all the males i have seen dont have the blk marking if u know how to vent u can do that if u look under the fish at its BUTT ull see a figure 8 that would b a female if it looks like this o0 female oo male if u cant do all that let it grow females grow slow imo ull be able to tell in no time good luck get a pic up asap

Heres the pic...and unless vented, the fish is too small to be 100% accurately sexed. Everything will be a guess at best, especially from all the "red eyed fry sexing experts" on here.
