Lol I was going to make a joke.

To the OP, I believe male and female. Female being the second pic (unless I have it backwards females tend to have a black splotch on the dorsal fin). Best way to tell is when they are in breeding dress or by venting.

1st is male, no dark spot in dorsal fin
2nd is female due to the dark spot

I assume so. When I got them they were in the same tank in one of my favorite aquatic stores.

First one looks like a carpintis second one looks like a could be cyanoguttatus or mix, something doesn’t look right...

Both seem cyanoguttatus to me. Only difference is the extra black spots on the second one and overall less blue. Maybe a dominance thing?
