Nice build! Ocd power!
dude....this is one of the most inspiring things in fish keeping I've ever seen. was talking about this thread with the guys at my lfs today lol
Thanks guys! I’ll get more pics up tomorrow. Made a ton of progress today

Justin Martin Justin Martin you got time thinking I need to go blackwater (visually) again. The crenicichla would probably color up even better.

Yesss I would love to see that tank go black. Pretty much any subtropical Freshwater fish of the americas colors up better in black water. Man that would be beautiful...keep us posted

Installed the drip overflow, drip inlet and emergency top off plumbing while the sump was out. Now the lids will sit flush/hold heat better.

The emergency top off is float controlled, heated and filtered so if it drops below a certain point it will fill the sump to that level. It’s a redundancy for leaks, not the drip inlet.

The drip inlet is an RO bulkhead on the opposite side of the sump by the pump inlet.

Got the power supply mounted under the stand. Cords tuck up under the stand to stay out of sight.

ETO and drip system are finished. For insurance, the drip is tied it to the main heated/filtered system. That way the ETO is clean mix (white lines) in the event it comes on.

The ball valve is accessible from the front or back and running the line underneath leaves nothing to snag on.

I use male stem elbows to fit into the RO bulkhead. It allows for swapping out different GPH emitters in seconds.
