I have to say I get a kick out of the reactions that people have when something like this happens. You really get to see the extreme views that some people have. Personally, I find it tragic that the trainer lost her life, and I hope and pray that her family and friends get through this time without a media feeding frenzy among other things. They need time to grieve. I also feel bad for Tilikum, for all we know he lost a good friend today. Unfortunately this has all the ingredients for a media induced panic attack.
We littles peoples will just have to wait and see what happens...
Hypothermia can set in pretty fast and leave you unable to even think logically. The trainers use full wet suites even in the 100deg Florida sun.
From what I read the trainer was a she not the he being referred to.
Not saying it killed her on purpose but taking prey at the edge of the water is natural for this animal. They have been known to take people fishing at the edge of steep drop offs. Particularly if seals are around.

if anything they just need to check how they handle it .. how about we learn from it .. stop being so careless and take some of the responsibility ..
speaking of responsibility .. the whole world is in the toilet because of people not wanting to take some ... this was as much the trainers fault as it is sea worlds as it is the whale .. everyone is equally responsible and rather then trying to prove we have bigger balls then the whale .. maybe accept the fact that when you play with the bull .. your going to get the horns .. (unless we cut them off)
