My loaches are wacky, I have 4 in my 55, 2 grew much faster that the other 2 and they are ALWAYS together. There always wrestling over food and what not, it's crazy, the other 2 smaller ones are the runts and like to sit on the plants and watch everything else.

I have a 5" modesta in a tank with a 1" clown (among many more). The large modesta will sit on a pellet, not eat it, not let anyone else touch it, but he'll give it to the tiny clown. I don't know what would cause a cranky modesta to adopt a sweet little clown, but it's adorable!

Mine get into such a frenzy when feeding that they end up slapping any fish around them.

I have a Yoyo that sleeps upside down, actually on his back, between the bottom of the internal filter and the bottom glass. All my other fish sleep in my driftwood jungle, but this one Yoyo is always in that little spot. He sometimes even checks in for some quiet time during the day, where he sits on his side! So cute haha. The Dario used to, but I guess he is a green Loach because he has taken up a more naturalistic bed under the driftwood haha :D
Gotta love Loaches.

My peacock eel, Ava, is about the same size as my weather loach, Cujo, and I feed Ava earthworms. Well at her size I have to cut up the worm. I drop all the pieces in her favorite corner. She comes running and Cujo has come to enjoy the earthworm bits as well. They are the only 2 fish that can reach the corner since PVC pipe is blocking it up. Well when the 2 of them get down to the last piece of worm...Ava generally tends to get it cause she's faster...Cujo will chase her around the tank relentlessly. Most days she drops the worm, but Cujo just keeps chasing her....I think he thinks it fun. =)
