Sorry to say that, nothing personal.
I think the tank is totally overstocked.
This cant be good for you fishes.
The water doesnt look really clear, a little bit cloudy.
The Heros looks realy bad.
I would get rid of some fish very soon.
Just my two cents.

I too would ditch everything but the cichla and the rays ;)
 
I rescued the severum from my lfs like that. But I agree I will be putting most of the gar and bowfin in my pond when the water warms up. It'll be the bass, rays, and black aro for the most part.
The water is actually very clear. My camera just auto adjusts to different scene modes and makes the water look green or yellow.

Really nice man. I liked your tank a lot always looked busy. I know you got filtration equipped to handle the bioload. How big is that bowfin? U should swing him to me man ;) help Ya clear up some space in there

Looks much better!
Will look even better minus the gars...they look funny witht the bass almost.
BUt i do dig a nice gator.

HOw about some pond updates...?
