I would guess the main issues will be oxygen levels and whether or not it's connected to any other water ways, meaning you can't add non-native animals due to possible escape into the wild.

Another thing to consider is that adding a captive shark to an outdoor set up is more or less releasing any zoonatic diseases into the wild that it may have.

The pond has no water ways .. so i dnt think the shark will escape unless he grows some legs lol.

And i just thought about the captive to wild situation.. could i maybe quarinetine the shark..
or maybe try to catch some juevinile sharks for my pond?
i just dnt want a bull shark they scare me.

It's hard to say with knowing the dimensions of the pond. This is key to species suggestions.

BTW - I wouldn't suggest a Bull shark - unless you owned a large Public Aquarium.

At an average depth of 5' deep - I personally won't suggest any requiem shark that gets over 6' long.

ohk i finallly got home today and i walked around the pond and it turns out there is a canal/ditch that runs from the salt marsh...
soo im not gunna buy any sharks for the pond .
ima go fishn on the beach and c what i can catch tonight.

what about some pics for us? You said you would:headbang2

Was going to ask how it became a saltwater pond, since it doesn't sound like you're mixing the water...

I dont really understand about him saying a salt marsh connects to it, and is it possible to keep the salt level consistant? Allthough he said other things are living in there
