Shark pond?

Not trying to sound like a smart A but wont a lid stop most evaporation

Yeah - it should. But depends on how often the lid is open & how large any holes are.

I've seen him keep Bonnet heads in that tank/pond... Very nice indeed

Well depending on the dimensions - a 10,000 gal pond/lagoon might be ok of a Bonnethead. But IMPO this would considered near minimum for a single adult Bonnethead

ok cause im doing a fresh indoor pond and i though a lid was good enogh

Im am guessing but I think that tank in the store is something like 8' x 12' and about 2 feet deep. And a lid on a pond only works is you never want to view the animals inside. Unless you make a clear plexi lid but then if your pond is huge like this one I don't see how it would work.

I no its not my thread but would some air stone work. Just questions

O i c. Ponds seem rather simple i dont no how big hes planning but im building a 480 and i think it will take about a weekend

In the US, there are places that regulate having dangerous animals outdoors. There are also laws about having pools - which should also be run by your home owners insurance for liability issues.

Well - I could make comments about the Unsuitability of Bonnetheads for home aquaria.

But I'll just leave it at - unless you have a pond/lagoon that has the space & gallonage of a moderate size above ground swimming pool (at least 6,000 -10,000 gallons) - Don't even try it.
